When will the 2011 season Board version player card set be released?
The pre-order process for the new upcoming 2011 season release is starting earlier this year because of the changes in offerings for the new upcoming season set. The 2011 season player card set is now available for pre-order at the Ticket Window with the first season player card sets shipping out on a first-in first-out basis starting in November. Everyone who pre-orders the 2011 season will also receive a special World Series player card set via email to pre-play the 2011 World Series.
2011 season Ball Park charts
For the first time in a long time there were no new ball parks in 2011, but some new updated ball park photos were added to the 2011 ball park charts.
When will the 2011 season player cards be available for the Online version?
Once again, DYNASTY League Baseball Online players will be the first to get the new 2011 season within 24 hours of the final player ratings being completed.
When will the new continuous Public and Private Draft Leagues and live draft room be available?

The plan is to have both Private and Public continuous draft leagues ready before the start of Spring Training 2012. You will be able to test the new live draft room and also try out a demo draft league.
What about the Windows version?
The biggest change this year is that there will be not be a 2011 season available for the Windows version or any other future season player card sets or upgrades. Windows 7 64 bit OS now has a very significant market share and the old 16 bit architecture that the Windows version was developed in will not run on 64 bit OS. All Windows version game players are being migrated to the new DYNASTY League Baseball Online version which not only runs on all the new 64 bit OS, but also is one of the rare Baseball simulations on Apple Mac OS. Dan Mintz and I would like to thank all the loyal Windows version players and we hope you have had a chance to try out the incredible new Online version that Jamie Hall has developed.

Which 2011 season version should I get if I am in a mixed Board version and Windows league?
If you are in a mixed league you have come to a fork in the road and need to decide to either use the Board version or Online version. It has to be one or the other not both. If you are a larger mixed league one idea that some other DYNASTY League Baseball leagues have done is to split your league into an AL and NL with one league playing the Board version and the other the Online version. The Pennant winners from the AL and NL then would meet in the World Series just as baseball was played for most of it’s history. There would be no other interleague play. You could play the World Series with either the Board version or Online version.
There will be new “tools” released for the Online version that will enable Private leagues to enter your existing team rosters, salaries and contracts. Well you can. Right now you can play “Series” vs. the new computer manager with any of the teams from the complete library of DYNASTY League Baseball seasons. Having said that, I think you are really missing out on some great fun by not trying the multi-player Greatest Team bracket tournaments and leagues as well as the upcoming multi-player Draft leagues.

There will be a new Official Rulebook released soon that will include some new rules that were previously only listed at the Q&A link. League rules have also been revised and updated for the new Online version. Everyone will be able to download the new 2012 Official Rulebook as a PDF file.

How soon for 1975 season for cards and online?
Hi Steve,
The 1975 season is targeted after the release of the 2011 season. Other than that I can’t get more specific until Draft leagues launch and we see where we are at in terms of our long TO DO list of projects and new features.
When will the 2012 Rulebook be available??
The plan is to have the new 2012 Official Rulebook at the first half of 2012 in conjunction with the release of the new draft league format for DYNASTY League Baseball Online.
